SURVIVAL LOUNGE | ELEMENT FILM RE-INHABITING YOUR MIND

The following project, as part of the educational research project “Inhabiting the Survival Lounge“, presents everyday situations woman face regardless of their heritage, orientation and appearance.

Whether it´s sexual harassment at work, not being taken seriously by professors, being photographed without consent on a train ride or being followed home by a stranger. woman of all kinds of backgrounds relate to situations such as these and yet it remains a subject that is regarded as too sensitive or even taboo to discuss publicly.

This installation challenges you as a viewer to become a participant: to put yourself into another´s shoes, and to overlay their experience with yours. The aim is to create and spread awareness, and to call for courage.
